The Back Office Investor database monitors 7,536 companies each day, we monitor their fundamental data, performance and publish morning buy and sell trigger reports, looking at the attached report ( blanks fields have been removed ) we see that the past 6 months have been weak, one indicator of a bear market is when 80% of stocks are down for an extended period ( 3 months ), another indicator of a bear market is when stocks fall 20% from their recent highs, we are not in a bear market yet, however some correction is occurring, but we must remain vigilant, this is why I keep stressing the importance of having a predetermined exit strategy to avoid serious losses, you must know when to get out of a losing trade or investment even if you need to take a loss, this will ensue you can fight another day and won’t be wiped out, this is all part of investing and good risk management, good luck to all investors.
